This feature enables you to give your team or your accountant access to your Cloud Accounting System. By providing someone else access, it gives you the ability to get feedback about the system. The automatic conversion to Sage Accounting is made available through the use of Cloudconvert. This service which is available in South Africa takes your data from your old system and converts it to a brand new Sage Accounting system.
This service is available for conversions from:
- Sage Paste Xpress (Desktop accounting for small businesses)
- Sage Pastel Partner (Desktop accounting for small to medium-sized businesses)
- Quickbooks Desktop UK
- Quickbooks Online
The conversion process happens securely by uploading a backup of your accounting records on the Cloudconvert website and providing your user password. You receive a confirmation email that Cloudconvert is in the process of converting your data.
The conversion process with Cloudconvert happens in 5 steps:
- Completion of an online form.
- Give access to your accounting data by uploading, providing a link to backup data, or give user access if it’s online.
- They set up a new Sage Accounting business for you.
- Cloudconvert converts your existing data into a Sage Accounting set of books.
- They handover the Sage Accounting books to you and logs out.
It is clear from Cloudconvert that you can convert your existing data before starting a Sage Cloud Accounting account. It is also possible to create a free-trial Sage account, and to perform a conversion and to work in your free-trial account for the full 30-days.
The service of Cloudconvert is free if you have already opened a Sage Account. A cost is incurred should you wish to convert more data than only account balances or inventory tracking, more than one year, etc.
